The Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts, the Hood Museum of Art, and five academic arts departments at Dartmouth require over 250,000 square feet of renovation and new construction, as they plan to double the footprint of the existing arts facilities. Rogers Marvel Architects completed an extensive analysis of the programming and infrastructure requirements of those projects, and then developed planning

studies that proposed 3-dimensional solutions. The interconnected Hopkins Center, Hood Museum, and adjoining arts buildings will be renovated and expanded, while new facilities housing an arts library, performance halls, studios, and exhibit/reception space will be arranged around connecting outdoor spaces. The project is estimated to cost $96 million. |
