Rogers Marvel Architects conducted an extensive cultural center feasibility study for CREATE, a coalition of leaders from the Chinatown civic and arts community. RMA developed and assembled financial projections, site data, and governance structure options to help lay the foundation for a major new Asian American arts venue. The project's theaters, studios, classrooms, galleries, and retail will showcase Asian American artistic heritage and provide resources to working artists. The center furthers the city's goals for post-9/11 downtown revitalization, and is intended to become a major tourist attraction. CREATE is currently using RMA's study to raise funding for the center's design and construction.
